Hey, do you want to know the secrets to getting more than 250 000 monthly page views from Pinterest for free then keep reading this blog, I am going to discuss with you all the steps to take to grow your Pinterest traffic from zero to 250 monthly views and earn figures like six thousand dollars in monthly income all thanks to Pinterest SEO

So if you want to learn how to get more of your pins rank high in Pinterest search results then stay tuned because I’ve got all the details for you and we’ve put together a very special checklist for Pinterest SEO which you can download. Now I wish I had one like this when I was starting on Pinterest.

During this blog you will find the exact process you can use to get traction on Pinterest and get more click-throughs from my pins why would you use SEO on Pinterest SEO stands for search engine optimisation and helps you drive traffic from search results. I know you are thinking isn’t Pinterest a Social Media Platform yes and no Pinterest is both a search engine and a social media site.

You have a feed to scroll down when you just want to browse on Pinterest like on Facebook or Instagram, you can also follow users like on other social networks but you also have a powerful search tool on Pinterest. Try to search for anything on Facebook, now compare it to how relevant and useful the results will be against the results you will find on Pinterest.

On Pinterest you will find pin images which lead to websites and blogs, Now I know you are shocked and find it hard to believe but the results are as relevant as on google if you know anything about SEO for google you’re probably prepared for a struggle for months if not years to get at least some results from your traffic generating efforts.

SEO isn’t easy on google especially if your website is totally new if it doesn’t have domain authority in the first six months or even a year you’re destined to work hard creating high quality long posts to compete for low volume keywords for someone who wants to see an income from a website or a blog this reality is pretty depressing.

Now don’t be panicking, SEO on Pinterest is not that complicated yet and you have a perfect opportunity to leverage the free traffic from Pinterest before this platform becomes too crowded with other smart online marketers. I am sure you now see the potential Pinterest SEO has, so let’s jump to all the steps in your search engine optimisation strategy.

First step – Create Pinterest Account

Make sure your Pinterest account is ready for SEO you need to set up a Pinterest business account for your website personal account will not do because you will also need to verify your domain and enable rich pins you cannot skip the step and since it’s a little bit technical I will give you a link to a detailed instruction on my website I wrote um that will help you set all these things in about maybe about 10 minutes or so if you have all of the steps set up by now just move to the step 2.

Step 2 – Keyword Research

Let’s learn how you can do keyword research in Pinterest and think of some content ideas for your future blog posts so you just start typing in the keyword which you’re thinking about and Pinterest shows you suggested additional words these search phrases are shown from left to right with the most popular keywords being on the left and if you click on one of the suggestions it will show you more specific search phrases.

But actually I wouldn’t recommend you to go too far in the search for long tail keywords if you want to target them on Pinterest that’s because it doesn’t work the same as on google if you know something about google SEO you probably hear the recommendation to target long tail keywords because there is less competition for them.

So for a new blog with low domain authority it’s the only way to get some traffic from google luckily Pinterest doesn’t care that much about the main authority i’m sure that the platform tracks the main quality over time analysing all the pins that you’ve saved

When you are new on Pinterest and you don’t have any pins, you will find your chances to compete with older accounts are very good I can actually tell you that maybe with about 90 certainty that algorithm probably gives an initial boost to all new accounts as they just have just started saving content to the platform.  It has been seen it many times with thousands of people blogs and also with accounts of my clients.

Example Of A Randomly Picked Optimised Profile Page

Step 3 – Improve Your Pinterest Profile

Improve your Pinterest profile to receive the best SEO performance when you do search on Pinterest and add filter by people the accounts will be ranked based on the keywords.

In the profile above you can see the title and description in their profile showing, I’m sure that search results for you might look slightly different because Pinterest takes into consideration who you follow but anyway I’m just showing you here that most of the accounts which show up in the top results will have their exact keyword in the profile title.

Also it’s very helpful to be able to target several keywords here in the profile title see who they are targeting in the description and also define your username with this tactic. Make sure that you include keywords you’re targeting in your business or blog as many times as possible in your profile name and description especially in the username usually it’s more difficult so if you just use your brand name here it’s okay

Step 4 Build Up Your Pinterest Boards

Build your Pinterest boards with SEO in mind so that your pins take off a lot faster so one common mistake i see in naming Pinterest boards is being creative you could try to use a creative name such as yummiest instead of a more specific board title like vegan recipes or if we look at the travel niche naming a board just wow doesn’t help interest understand what your board is about and Pinterest doesn’t know that it’s a collection of outdoor travel best destinations so it is crucial to have the keyword you’re targeting in the board title in the board description you have to include the same keyword along with other related keywords.

you can find in Pinterest suggestions you should also make sure that you choose the right category in the board settings i’m showing you on this screenshot how you find your board settings you open your board you click on this icon here and then you can select the category that is the most relevant to the content on your board and this also helps Pinterest rank your pins better

Step 5 Craft an ideally SEO optimised pin for Pinterest

Craft an ideally SEO optimised pin for Pinterest SEO is a lot easier than Google SEO.

Like I said you still need to know which parts of the pin to optimise, so let me help you here is the anatomy of a healthy keyword optimised rich pin and these are the three most important signals about your pin we’re looking now at the article type of rich pin. It adds more information from your page for example your SEO title your post SEO description and the page publication date the other rich pin types on Pinterest are recipe pins product pins and app pins.

Article pins are actually the most common so i will show you in this video how to optimise them so all you have to do for Pinterest SEO is make sure that the targeted keyword is inside your post SEO title you can do it inside the Yoast SEO plugin if you’re using WordPress and so this SEO title will become also your pins title you also need to make sure that the targeted keyword is included into the post SEO description and that when you save the pin you also want to include the targeted keyword inside the pin description itself let me just go back to the previous slide and show you what is the pin description

Step 6 Use hashtags in pin descriptions

We also recommend using hashtags in your pin descriptions. Do not include hashtags anywhere else i mean the post title and post SEO description obviously never include hashtags because they are used for google SEO purposes as well but and google doesn’t like hashtags so you need to only add hashtags inside your pin description when you’re saving the image on Pinterest Pinterest allows a maximum of 20 hashtags but actually it’s not recommended to add so many you could stick to about three to five hashtags per pin.

Step 7 Save Pin In Your Most Relevant Board

save your pin first to the most relevant board on your account ideally your board title should have the same exact keyword you’re targeting in the pin but if that’s not the case you should find the most relevant board and save your pin to that board before you repeat it anywhere else that’s very important because Pinterest will learn what your new pin is about not only from the keywords which you inserted into the the pin description or pin uh or post SEO title but also from the keyword context in which the spin appears on the platform

Social Media Manager Pro

Social Media Marketing For Beginners In 2020

For a Social Media Marketing campaign in 2020 to be successful. You need to be active. It simply isn’t important whether you are active on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.Even Snapchat, TikTok is doing well, although Instagram is crushing it.These social media platforms have over a hundred million active users daily. But as a beginner all of this is  too complicated to fathom and can be complicated.

How to get started on Social Media

Today I’m going to give you a few simple tips on you how to get started with social media as a newbie.
The first thing you must decide is which social media network is the right social network for you and your business.

Yes there’s a lot of them and really it doesn’t matter which one you use. Whether it’s Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat it’s up to you to evaluate and decide on which network you want to be on. You say “well i  want to be on all of them ” and yes you could be on all of them. Unfortunately if you’re trying to concentrate on all of them, you’re not gonna spend enough time and effort
to make these profiles worth while and engaging. You can’t spend enough time on them and that will be your downfall.

Therefore you will only end up hurting your business. Not getting the results you want and this is caused by lack of time and focus and you become half-ass’d. Do not settle for a mediocre job. You will not get the reach you want, it will destroy your confidence.
Social media, was way easier to attract traffic from in the last few years. Then came algorithms and their continual updates

Picking the right Social Media Platform

Pick the right social network and concentrate entirely on this one. You decide as with all things. What’s right for me may not be right for you.
If you are a business and want to do business with other businesses with (B2B). Then there is only one real choice and that is LinkedIn.  It is gonna be the best social network for you. You can use Twitter as well. I would seriously suggest LinkedIn as it is typically much better all round option.

If you’re business is more B2C, FacebookInstagram & YouTube all perform really well. YouTube works for both B2B and B2C to be honest with you when used correctly. Now here’s the thing you also have to look at what content type do you like creating.

Ask yourself a few questions before thinking YouTube.  The main on is are you someone who is creative and has the ability to be really good with videos. Hence if this is you probably have a go with YouTube or possibly LinkedIn. Facebook is by far these days the much more competitive choice and is now also getting more expensive with their paid ads. With YouTube, even if you don’t have an audience you will eventually get more traffic over time with some perseverance .

Choose your audience demographics as each one is targeted towards different ones for example
Facebook is amazing for an older target demographic, whereas Instagram and SnapChat are a better option for a younger target audience amazing.

Social Media Content

You have decided which social network is your weapon of choice. With that in mind you need to do is start creating content. Do not worry at this stage about not having friends & no established following. If you don’t have any content on your profile, they will not follow you any way.

Completing Your Social Media Profile.

Every social media platform has a profile page that you need to complete Facebook, Twitter, Instagram they all have have profiles. Therefore you need to do a complete and through profile. This is Lisa, Lisa has completed everything on her profile for her business from a username
email address.  Besides adding to really high quality images, she has a description of who she is and what her company is about.

People need and want a reason to follow. Hence this is your time to shine. Talk about the benefits that the users will experience from following you and why subscribing to your page, is going to benefit them as a follower.

First important piece of content is your Social Media profile

Do some research before completing your profile by checking out your competition. Every business will have competitors and you shouldn’t be afraid of them. Look at the bigger companies they already have the blue-prints mirror it. DO NOT COPY

Review your competitors profile, their content.  Is there a subject, product, campaign that is doing for well for them, what content is not performing well, analyse why. Yes i know don’t tell me you are thinking “I’m no good at content” If you don’t know how to create content, then you are probably overthinking it. Use what i call the KISS Method

K-Keep
I- It
S- Simple
S- Stupid

Sharing some links, of relevant information, videos, blogs. Update your status, whats happening in the business. Users love to know what is going on, as a human race we are all getting nosier don’t forget that.

If you’re still not too sure what to share, then you can use sites like Buzzsumo.com. Type in any keywords that you would like to target from your industry or niche. Buzzsumo will show you all the popular articles.  It basically will show you the analytics of these post. For example what is popular and what people like on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Basically all the social sites. Now you have some useful information. You have content idea’s, and what users are searching for and enjoying.

It is time to create the content.  It doesn’t have to be perfect.  You will get better over time, you just need to get out there and fill your profile.

Engaging & connecting with your social media audience

You are on Social Media and you must be social. Yes you do feel hidden behind a computer and can feel disconnected but on the other side of the screen are your potential users.  Build a connection and invite the ones you already have a connect with like your friend.

This is a real person who you physically know invite them to become friends on Facebook.
Send them a follow request on Twitter and they will likely follow you back.

These are the low hanging fruit. You already have a connection and do not need to spend huge amounts of time building one with them.

If you are looking to attract users you don’t know then this is where the work starts.  You need to find a way to build that connection.

Here is how you are going to do this. Go and look for all the people in the industry you are in and view who are active and what status updates they post.

Do they have questions respond to?

Give them an answer or opinion on the subject you dont always have to agree, just give your perspective.
A fresh perspective on a subject may just be what they need and it really can help them out.

You may see that they have written an article on a subject feel free to share the content especially
if you think it can be valuable, simple right?

It really doesn’t take a few seconds to share a post even if it is from one of your competitors repost, re-share, whatever it may be.  You are looking to build engagement.

Social media follower numbers are irrelevant

Your competitors and already spent time building and audience.  Tap in to this and use it to your advantage. You will find maybe on a competitors fan page they have asked a question.  One of their users has asked a question. Respond to them, help them out, give them some advice.  It all sounds too simple but in fact that’s how you build a connection.

If some one answers your comment you should acknowledge this with either a thank you or an answer That’s how you can engage without knowing someone. Over time as you engage more and more you will see more users and people will come to your site, they’ll follow you.
You are now confident, you are authoritative and find it much easier to engage deeply with them. Soon they’ll become a loyal ambassador and follower’s.

Quality content & users over quantity

I have explained this to plenty of businesses, concentrate on building great content which answers or solves a problem for a user.  Forget about pushing them straight to your site, users don’t want to be pushed.  Guide them and over a space of say three to six months you can willingly show them to the front door of your site.  Most will ask to be led. This happens because of the relationship you have built up over time, the trust is not there.

Social Media relationships & trust

How many of you would buy off someone who you have never met that comes up to you in a cafe and says “would you like to buy this”. Not many of you i’m sure. However if you had seen this person and had brief conversations with them over a sustained period of time.
Then they ask you, i’m pretty sure the outcome is likely to be different. In other words be patient when building an audience organically. In the long run it will hugely benefit you and your business more. If you want instant results, go for a PPC campaign and get ready to be continuously be running these.

Are you still wanting help or think you should leave this to the experts.
